ANNNNND there goes all my moneys (when it's over).
Ok so like the summercamp thing they did a while ago, some games will have new x-mas achivements (steamworks games only, duh) and when you get it you will go in a roll to get a present or a piece of coal.
A present is a game (which you can gift off, if you want too).
Coal puts into a draw to win stuff (or get 7 and you can make a present).
so far I have got 'Orcs must die' (from the people who used to make Age of Empires).
ps. from the store today I saw the collectors edition of 'TotalWar Shogun 2' for $44AUD and I gots it.
So I know Lue said something a while ago about how I was a clan leader or something, I forgot.

Yep, you're the clanleader for Studycove on steam, the clan is ranked in like.. division 6 or something in shogun 2, haven't played in awhile so we've probably dropped abit.
Anyway I'll give some more info regarding the prizes etc:
Each lump of coal you save until the 2nd january will be a 'ticket' that enters you into a drawing for the 1101 prizes they'll hand out that day, the grand prize: every single game on steam.
100 wins: top 10 on your wishlist.
1000 wins : top 5 on your wishlist.
Make sure you've got 10 games on your wishlist tho, otherwise you arent even entitled to enter the drawing.
Also I've got 2 gifts so far, neither contained coal and what I got was simply discounts of games, 50% off on valve games and 50% off on THQ games,
personally I'm trying to hold off on buying games on steam this time around cause I'm in need of a new computer but if skyrim pops around, its a sure buy.
Orcs must die is a great game btw, well worth picking up for anyone whos interested in that gamestyle.
